In Ithaca, urgent care centers are busiest on weekends and evenings when doctors' offices are closed, and most post their wait times online. Across New York, primary care practices often have a waitlist for new patients, so establishing care before you need it saves time. For a dental emergency outside office hours, an urgent care center can prescribe antibiotics and pain relief but cannot fix the tooth; a hospital emergency room can treat swelling that affects breathing or swallowing. Check the listing for insurance, hours and whether telehealth visits are offered.

Had to get tests done, and I have white coat syndrome. Not only did my LPN put me at ease, but I barely realized we were doing the tests. 11/10. Would Ashley G. again

CMC, of cunning in/out-patient forms, is notorious for rapacious billing and glib run-around. In Fall '25, young Indian physicians Dommaraju and Napit seemed as nice as any salaried workers on computers. After I submitted records transfer paperwork, the nurse of the second visit reported in bureaucratic monotone they had zero records. They did, however, have a next-year illicit Centralis appt for me. THE WORST!

Had a very important issue and was told I need a referral from primary. Cayuga Primary books out weeks and months in advance for your own Doctor but they said I could see someone same day, they booked the appointment 2-3 hours from that moment. Went home after a long day at work and then, came all the way back to the office. When I came back at the time they told me 4:15 they said the appointment was gone and they booked it under someone else's name and they could no longer see me.

I had a great experience visiting my primary care physician. Elaina and Ashley at the front desk were absolutely wonderful, helpful and so kind. They greeted me warmly when I arrived, helped check me in quickly and efficiently and were very helpful answering all my questions. I have had great experiences every time I visit my primary care physician because everyone in the office is so nice and easy to work with. All of my medical needs are always met by Dr. Bodla and his team. And, Elaina especially was absolutely wonderful, pleasant and upbeat. She made my day!

This was quite literally the worst doctors appointment I have ever had. Dr. Napit was condescending, rude and talked to me like I was stupid for the medication Iβve been on for years. She demanded that I return to βthe standard medicationβ even though I explained that I WAS on the standard many years ago and the side effects were why I was on my current medication(issue free for five years) but she was adamant that she would not prescribe anything else and if I didnβt like it, than too bad. Only the standard. I have never ever had issues getting my RX refilled, after bloodwork to make sure my levels were good. She refused to listen to anything I had to say, acted disgusted that I wouldnβt just swap my medication to something that historically has made me sick and just overall was nasty the whole visit, which I cut short because she wasnβt really interested in anything I had to say unless I changed my thyroid medication. This was the most uncomfortable a doctor has ever made me feel. Like I was an inconvenience to her for even coming the appointment. This is not how a primary care doctor should behave. I am actually floored at the treatment here and will find anyone else to go to.
